Weigh-In policy:

Each club will have the opportunity to weigh in their wrestlers at their last scheduled practice for the week.

EXAMPLE: Practice schedule is Mondays and Wednesdays-wresters will weigh in Wednesday. If practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays-wrestlers will weigh in on Thursday.

Club leaders will receive an email with the weigh-in log in through the USA Wrestling Membership website.

Clubs can purchase scanners and scan USA cards to make things quicker if they desire

Same weigh in procedures apply:

· Must weigh-in in a competition singlet

· Nail checks and skin check must be conducted

· One time on the scale-cannot go cut weight if they over over. Whatever the weight is, is what must be logged.

· If they are over and want to bump up, move them up during weigh-ins at no cost.

Our goal is to reduce extra time and the hassle of families having to take their kids to weigh in on a Friday evenings and Saturday mornings

Our expectations of club leaders are that you uphold the current policies and procedures and operate with honesty and integrity.

There will be a challenge process we hope to never have to use. It will just add more tedious tasks we do not want to have to deal with. If a coach does decide they want to challenge the weight of a wrestler in a specific bracket, they can pay $50 to challenge. If the kid is with in 5% of their weight class, they will lose the $50. If the wrestler is over 5% of the weight class, the coach will get the $50 back. The wrestler will be scratched from the bracket. EXAMPLE: Weight class is 80. 5% = 4 pounds. Wrestler cannot weigh more that 84 the day of the tournament.
