MN/USA Folkstyle State - Individual - State Tournament Information 

REGISTRATION: REGISTRATION WILL OPEN FEBRUARY 17th AT NOON!

• When registering your child it is your obligation to confirm that they are in fact eligible to register for the State Tournamen and met the points qualification criteria through the MN/USA qualifier process. To register for this event requires pre-qualification (30 points) through our MN/USA Folkstyle Qualifier series (for 6U/8U) and top 4 placers at Regions (for 10U/12U/14U). • Official MN/USA Qualification Points List is listed here on the MN/USA Wrestling website: MN/USA Accumulated Points. 
• Any wrestler that has not satisfied the required pre-registration criteria will be removed from the tournament and NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN. All participants will be verified.

Registration Deadlines:

• Early registration ($60/wrestler) for all ages/weights goes through 3/11/26 @ 8pm. Prices increase to $120 double and go up through the final registration deadline, which will be 8pm cst the day before each event.
  • 6U & 8U Individual (co-ed) + All Girls Individual Registration Deadline is due by 3/12/2026 @ 8pm cst.
  • All Girls Age Divisions (6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U) is due by 3/12/2026 @ 8pm cst.
  • 10U & 12U Individual (co-ed) Registration Deadline is due by 3/13/2026 @ 8pm cst.
  • 14U & 16U Individual (co-ed) Registration Dadline is due by 3/14/2026 @ 8pm cst.

COST: Entry fee of $60.00 per wrestler through 3/11/2026. Prices increase to $120.00 per wrestler through 8pm cst the day before each tournament.

TABLEWORKERS & LIVESTREAM COMMENTATORS GOOGLE FORM SIGNUP LINK:

• Interested in being tableworker or livestream commentator (for the finals) at the event and earning a stipend? 
• For this event, MN/USA offers a stiped for those that wish to assist with running the event.

MEMBERSHIP: 

• All wrestlers must have a 2026 USA Wrestling Athlete Membership to register.
• All wrestlers must bring their membership card with them to weigh ins. 
• To print your card, you must have a picture uploaded to your profile.

• Thursday, March 12th: (Co-Ed) K-6th Grade Team State Tournament & Girls K-8th Grade Team State Tournament
• Friday, March 13th: (Co-Ed) 6U & 8U Individual State Tournament & All Girls divisions Individual State Tournament
• Saturday, March 14th: (Co-Ed) 10U & 12U Individual State Tournament
• Sunday, March 15th: (Co-Ed) 14U & 16U Individual State Tournament

Brackets & Live Results: Will be available on www.usabracketing.com

Live Streaming: The tournament will be streamed live via Class of X (https://classofx.com) for a $20 flat fee event subscription, which includes all 4 days of the MN/USA State Tournament & Team State Tournament.

Divisions: Age Groups include:

6U: Birth Years 2020-2021; 

8U: Birth Years 2018-2019; 

10U: Birth Years 2016-2017; 

12U: Birth Years 2014-2015; 

14U: Birth Years 2012 & 2013; 

16U: Birth Years 2010-2011

COACHES BANDS:

• Cost will be $15 (if purchased by 8pm on Wednesday, March 11th) or $30 (if purchased after 8pm on Wednesday, March 11th) and requires full credentials used at all Regional, State and National events (USAW Leader Membership - incl background check and safesport completion,
• Heads Up Concussion Training, Copper or above coach certification). All coaches bands must be purchased online.

• NOTE: Background checks can take up to 7-14 days, so plan ahead and get your credentials EARLY.
• All REGIONAL events also require the same credentials to coach matside and interact with tableworkers and referees/officials.
