Event Venue
The Expo at World Market Center Las VegasALL ATHLETES MUST WEAR A SINGLET ONLY FOR BOTH WEIGHINS & COMPETITION WITH NO MODIFICATIONS FOR ALL REGIONAL, NATIONAL, AND INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS HELD WITHIN THE UNITED STATES.
For any “USA Wrestling-owned and USA-controlled events,” competitors must wear (i) a Singlet, or seeking (ii) the “Modified Uniform” must approved by USA Wrestling in writing. However, because UWW rules only allow a wrestler to wear a Singlet in an event governed by UWW’s rules (a “UWW Event”), if a USA Wrestling-owned or USA Wrestling-controlled event qualifies a wrestler to compete in a UWW Event, then a wrestler wearing the Modified Uniform will not be selected to compete in the UWW Event unless the athlete agrees to wear a Singlet at the UWW Event, since he/she would be ineligible to compete under UWW rules. If this wrestler does not agree to wear the Singlet, then the next-highest-finishing wrestler in the division will be selected to participate in the UWW Event.
Women’s Singlet Requirement:
For any regional, national, or international competitions held within the United States, female competitors must wear a women’s cut singlet.
