USA Wrestling presents the Central Regional Championship on May 17-18. This event will take place at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville, Kentucky and is a qualifier for the 2025 US Marine Corps Junior National Championships in Fargo, ND on July 12th-20th in the 16U & Junior Men's and Women's divisions. 

Central Regional Championships offers athletes in 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U & Juniors a chance to compete against some of the best wrestlers in the country. The Central Regionals offers both men and women an opportunity to compete in Freestyle and Greco-Roman styles.  This event is a great preparation for both Kids Nationals and 16U/Junior National Championships.

Eligibility at Kids Nationals

There are no qualification requirements for Kids Nationals other than having an up to date membership.

Approved as of the 2023 USA Wrestling Board of Director’s National Convention: 

• Participation at Regional & National Championships When both regional and/or national championships are offered to both genders in the same style(s) in Junior and 16U, wrestlers shall only be allowed to compete in the division of his/her gender.
   
• Participation at Regional & National Championships When both regional and/or national championships are offered to both genders in the same style(s) in 14U and below, wrestlers shall only be allowed to compete in the division of his/her gender. 

State teams shall be limited to four (4) wrestlers per age per style per weight class. Wrestlers who earn automatic qualifier status shall not count against any limit.

Junior & 16U Nationals (FARGO) Qualifications

There will be no folkstyle division at this event.
