COLLEGE COACH FLOOR PASS

The college coaches pass may be purchased for $100 and is available to all collegiate wrestling coaches who have a current (2022-23) USA Wrestling Leader Membership.

Coaches must be part of a college staff.  Prior to receiving the credential, you will be asked to show a college business card or be found on the institution’s website.

The pass is good for admission to the Junior and 16U National Tournament held in Fargo, ND July 15-22. Limit 1 pass per profile.

Coaches Passes will only be given to coaches approved by their State Chairman for the Junior & 16U National Championships.  They MUST also fulfill the requirements below.  

All coaches that wish to gain access to the competition floor to coach athletes must have a current USA Wrestling Leader Membership Card. All USA Wrestling Leader Membership Cards MUST be attained prior to the event, due to mandatory background checking. IMPORTANT NOTE!

At USA Wrestling Regional and National Championships, coaching credentials will only be issued to Wrestling Leader members at least 18 years of age who meet the appropriate NCEP certification requirement.  Minors accompanying credentialed coaches will not be allowed on the competition floor.

How do I earn a Copper or Bronze level coaches certification?

• Once a coach has their Wrestling Leader Membership with USA Wrestling, they can take the Copper or Bronze level coaches certifications through their membership profile at www.USAWmembership.com.

To purchase, access the course options under the top tab for MANAGE, followed by COACH CERTIFICATIONS in the drop-down.

• ADD the desired course to the shopping cart and then check out and pay the course fee.
• Once the fee is paid, courses can be accessed under the MY COURSES tab.
• As soon as a course is finished, the coach’s profile is updated automatically in our system.
• We will send the coach a free new membership card that reflects the certification in about 3 to 4 weeks.
• For coaches who need proof of certification sooner, they’ll be able to re-print a membership card from their profile reflecting all current certifications. Any online registration system will see the coach’s certifications as well.

Coaches who have earned both Copper and Bronze level certifications automatically qualify to start Silver level tasks. These tasks can be accessed from the same course area as the Copper and Bronze program. Some really great opportunities at this level!
