Rules

The current rules of UWW will govern the event and the competition (except bracketing procedures). This event will use the new UWW rules. Tech falls will be a difference of 10 points for freestyle and 8 points for Greco. Video Review will be conducted for all matches.

PLEASE NOTE: Wrestlers from the same club must use the same club name or abbreviation during registration in order to insure proper calculation of team points. There will be a blind computer draw after the initial weigh-in. A standard, seeded, double-elimination line bracket, with consolation wrestle-backs to 3rd, 5th, and 7th place will be used.THERE WILL BE NO CLUB SEPARATION. 

Video Review will be conducted on quarterfinals, semi-finals, finals, medal matches, and consolation semi-finals.  

U15 Division: Wrestlers from the same club will be separated. This division will employ double-elimination line bracketing with wrestle-backs to third place. 

At weigh-ins and registration, please check to make sure that the level listed is correct. If it is not, be sure to tell the head table workers and the problem will be resolved.

U15 NATIONALS: GRECO-ROMAN & FREESTYLE

- There is no qualification tournament for the Greco-Roman or Freestyle Championships.
- The U15 Nationals will be line bracket, double-elimination; wrestle back to 7th place

- Separation Criteria will be used to separate the bracket

• Level 1: Previous U15 Pan Am Medalist or U15 World Medalist (IN Style)
• Level 2: Previous U15/14U/16U and above National Champion (IN Style)
• Level 3: Previous U15/14U/16U and above National 2nd - 8th (IN Style)
• Level 4: Previous U15/14U/16U and above National 1st - 3rd (OUT of style, not including folkstyle)
• Level 5: Separation by state
  UWW U15 will wrestle two 2-minute periods as per UWW.
