Born September 1, 2014 through August 31, 2016

Middle School / Girls Middle School
Born September 1, 2011 through August 31, 2014

Wrestlers must be in 8th grade or lower. No 9th-grade wrestlers are allowed in Middle School divisions.

High School / Girls High School
Born September 1, 2007 through August 31, 2012

High School and Girls High School division wrestlers cannot have graduated from high school.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL

ROOKIE

1st-year wrestler; no wrestling match of any style, anywhere, prior to March 15, 2026.

NOVICE

2nd-year wrestler; no wrestling match of any style, anywhere, prior to March 15, 2025.

OPEN

3rd-year wrestler or beyond.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL DEFINITION

“No wrestling match any style, anywhere” means the wrestler has not wrestled any wrestling match of any style, including folkstyle, collegiate, freestyle, Greco-Roman, or beach wrestling, in any state or country.
