Wrestlers must present thier USAW card with scannable bar code for weigh-ins.
All wrestlers must be dressed in a COMPETITION SINGLET for weigh-ins. No weight allowance is given for the singlet.
Wrestlers are the only individuals allowed to enter the weigh-in area; Parents/coaches cannot accompany the wrestlers.
To avoid delays, we highly recommended that wrestlers cut their finger nails before they arrive for weigh-ins.
Wrestlers must submit to a skin disease and finger nail check screening prior to weigh-in.
The medical staff and Tournament Director have full authority without appeal in determining the eligibility of an athlete to compete.
No weight reduction practices will be allowed on site.
Each athlete will be allowed two consecutive attempts to make weight and may not leave the weigh-in area during that time.
A $25 Rebracketing Fee will be charged for any weight class changes
After your athlete weighs-in, you will receive an email through your USA Wrestling membership with your athlete’s weight from the scale. Please confirm your athlete’s weight, if there is any issues please have your coach contact the Event Director or report to the head table ASAP. Check your junk email if you did not receive a weight confirmation email in your inbox.
In the event of injury or illness, NO contestant will be permitted to continue the competition without approval of the medical staff, whose decision is final and not subject to appeal.
If a wrestler becomes unconscious or referee, coach, athlete or medical provider suspects a wrestler may have received a concussion; the match will be stopped and tournament medical staff person will assess the wrestler. The tournament medical staff will have unlimited time to determine if the wrestler will be allowed to continue the match.
