USA Wrestling 2025 Southern Plains Regional Championships will be held in Wichita, KS on May 30 - June 1, 2025, and will take place at the Wichita Sports Forum. This event is a qualifier for the 2025 Junior and 16U National Championships in Fargo, ND.
 

The Southern Plains Regional Championships offers divisions for  8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U & Juniors.  The Southern Plains Regional provides both boys and girls an opportunity to compete in Freestyle and Greco-Roman styles of competition.  This event is a great preparation for both Kids Nationals and 16U/Junior National Championships.

Approved as of the 2023 USA Wrestling Board of Director’s National Convention: 

• Participation at Regional & National Championships When both regional and/or national championships are offered to both genders in the same style(s) in Junior and 16U, wrestlers shall only be allowed to compete in the division of his/her gender.
   
• Participation at Regional & National Championships When both regional and/or national championships are offered to both genders in the same style(s) in 14U and below, wrestlers shall only be allowed to compete in the division of his/her gender. 

Eligibility at Kids Nationals

There are no eligibility requirements for Kids Nationals other than an up-to-date membership.

• Participation at Regional & National Championships When both regional and/or national championships are offered to both genders in the same style(s) in Junior and 16U, wrestlers shall only be allowed to compete in the division of his/her gender.
   
• Participation at Regional & National Championships When both regional and/or national championships are offered to both genders in the same style(s) in 14U and below, wrestlers shall only be allowed to compete in the division of his/her gender. 

State teams shall be limited to four (4) wrestlers per age per style per weight class. Wrestlers who earn automatic qualifier status shall not count against any limit.

Junior & 16U Nationals (FARGO) Qualifications
