- All wrestlers must submit to a skin condition and fingernail screening prior to weigh-in.
- Wrestlers with skin conditions must provide:
- a standard wrestling medical release form (download here) completed and signed by a physician (MD) or nurse practicioner (NP) no earlier than January 3rd, 2024, and indicating the wrestler may return to competition in time for the tournament; together with
- a statement or invoice on office letterhead signed by the same MD or NP and indicating that the athlete in question was seen for treatment on the date the medical release form was signed.
- a standard wrestling medical release form (download here) completed and signed by a physician (MD) or nurse practicioner (NP) no earlier than January 3rd, 2024, and indicating the wrestler may return to competition in time for the tournament; together with
- The tournament director has final authority without appeal in determining the eligibility of an athlete to compete.
- All wrestlers must wear a competition singlet for weigh-ins.
- Wrestlers who have braces on their teeth must compete with, and weigh in with, a mouthguard.
- All wrestlers will receive a 0.9 pound weight allowance at all weigh-ins.
- A single weigh-in will cover a wrestler's participation in individuals and in duals.
- Wrestlers who miss weight will be automatically "bumped up" to the next weight class without penalty.
- No weight reduction activities shall be performed in view of the weigh-in area.
- If there are any issues during weigh-ins, go to the head table immediately to clarify.
- All questions about bracketing must be clarified 30 minutes before the start of the relevant session.
