The annual USA Wrestling 2024 US Open Events are storming into Las Vegas at the iconic South Point Casino from April 24-28, 2024. Prepare for an adrenaline-fueled wrestling spectacle in dazzling city of Las Vegas, NV!

This year’s event will feature multiple national championships and World Team Trials. It is expected to be another great week of wrestling for athletes of many ages in one of the nation’s most popular tourist destinations.

Team Selection Criteria 

Divisions:  

• U20 Nationals (2004-2007)
• U17 WTT (2007-2009)
• U15 Nationals (2009-2011)
• UWW Futures Nationals (2012-2014)

UWW Futures & Masters Only: 1 WEIGH-IN ONLY, these divisions can weigh-in a single time and it counts for both style (freestyle and greco) if they are actively competing in both styles.

** Seeding Meetings for Senior Divisions will be held virtually. Date & times will be sent out by Nationals Teams.

Nationality/Passport requirements:

• The World Team Trials process is open to all U.S. citizens eligible to represent the United States of America at the World Championships as governed by United World Wrestling (UWW) and USA Wrestling (USAW) rules.
• Athlete must be a United States citizen; and have completed USA sporting nationality with UWW prior to the athlete's World Team and Pan Am Games Tryout event.

**ALL LATE REGISTRATION FOR ALL DIVISIONS MUST BE DONE THE NIGHT BEFORE DUE TO DAY OF COMPETITION MORNING WEIGH-INS. PLEASE CHECK THE SCHEDULES FOR SPECIFIC DETAILS.

Girls High School National Recruiting Showcase (born 9/1/2004 & After, plus enrolled in 9th-12th grade):

Automatic Qualifiers

• Previous Girls High School National Recruiting Showcase All American
• All High School Associations State Champions (any year)
• 2023-2024 High School State Placers
• National Prep Champions (any year)
• Placer at NHSCA Virginia Beach High School Nationals (any year)
• 2023, 2024 USA Wrestling National All-American Placer 1st-8th: (Preseason Nationals, Boys and Girls National High School Recruiting Showcase, Women’s Freestyle Nationals, Girls and Boys Folkstyle Nationals, and 16u/ Junior Nationals)  
• 2022/2023/2024 UWW U15 and U17 National Placer (Must be currently enrolled in High School) 

Masters Nationals (1949-1999)

*Medical certificate is required to compete in Master’s C, D, E, & F and must be turned in during weigh-ins. It must be filled out within 90 days of competition - Click Here for Masters Medical Form for C, D , E & F athletes

Athlete Credentials: All custom credentials will be printed prior to the event. Athletes MUST be registered and have a profile picture attached to their USA Wrestling Membership profile before the April 5th deadline to receive their tournament credential. If you have not done this already, please put your picture in as soon as possible.

USA Wrestling Event Refund Policy: Your USA Wrestling event purchase through the USA Wrestling membership system (tournament entry, coaches pass, tickets, etc.) is non-refundable. Any cancelation that takes place after purchase, or after the event has been passed, will not be refunded. By completing this event purchase, you understand that all purchases are non-refundable for whatever reason.
