COACHING BANDS:

COACHES BANDS ON SALE SEPT. 1ST

College coaches/staff interested in attending are free of charge but must have a current USA Wrestling Membership for the 2023-2024 year. Coaches must be part of a college staff.  Prior to receiving the credential, email Richard Razo at RRazo@usawrestling.org to be added to the credential list of college coaches. You will be asked to show a college business card or be found on the institution’s website. 

Coaches Pass: $25.00
(MUST have current USA Wrestling leader card and Copper/Bronze certification dependent on age group). This includes admission for coaches and can be purchased at www.usawmembership.com.

Coaches will be given 1 band, if you take it off you must bring it back to get a replacement.

IMPORTANT NOTE!

Scroll to the bottom of the page after clicking the coaches band link to complete your purchase. At USA Wrestling Regional and National Championships, coaching credentials will only be issued to Wrestling Leader members at least 18 years of age who meet the appropriate NCEP certification requirement.  Minors accompanying credentialed coaches will not be allowed on the competition floor.

COACHES AND ATHLETES PLEASE BRING A COPY OF YOUR USA WRESTLING MEMBERSHIP CARD & A PHOTO ID WITH YOU TO THE EVENT. EVERY COACH AND ATHLETE WILL NEED TO BE BAR CODE SCANNED IN TO THE EVENT.

Coaches passes will be sold ONLINE for $25. This includes admission for coaches and need to be picked up on-site during weigh-ins or before the sessions starts.

Teams will receive one (1) complimentary coaches floor pass for ten (10) athletes pre-registered under the same team name into the Brian Keck Memorial Preseason Nationals/National Recruiting Showcase. In order to receive complimentary coaches floor pass, please email Christina Hargrove at chargrove@usawrestling.org by Friday, October 13th. If you miss this deadline, you will not receive complimentary passes.

You will be ask to due the following:

1. Add the Coach(s) receiving the comp pass to your USA WRESTLING shopping cart

2. Email Christina the Athletes Name(s) registered for your team

3. Once the Athletes are verified the coaches in your cart will be comped. 

4. Deadline to request complimentary coach pass is Friday, October 13th at 4pm MT

WRESTLING LEADER MEMBERSHIP

All coaches that wish to gain access to the competition floor to coach athletes must have a current USA Wrestling Leader Membership Card. All USA Wrestling Leader Membership Cards MUST be attained prior to the event, due to mandatory background checking. For a USA Wrestling Leader Membership Card, please click HERE. PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 30 DAYS FOR COMPLETION OF USA Wrestling LEADER MEMBERSHIP/BACKGROUND CHECK PROCESS.

Middle School and Below Coaches: Floor passes will only be issued to those individuals with a current USA Wrestling Leader Membership Card and are a minimum USA Wrestling NCEP Copper certified (photo I.D. required).

High School Coaches: Floor passes will only be issued to those individuals with a current USA Wrestling Leader Membership Card and are a minimum USA Wrestling NCEP Bronze certified (photo I.D. required).

How to Earn Coaching Certifications - Copper & Bronze Certification

You can take the certification online through your membership profile. CLICK HERE for Coaching Certification. 

Scroll to Manage and then Coach Certifications and once you purchase the course from your shopping cart your access it under the my courses tab. 

Certifications update immediately on your profile. You can print a membership card online and it will show all your NCEP Certification Levels.
