USA WRESTLING ATHLETE MEMBERSHIP:

Athletes MUST present proof of current USA Wrestling Membership Card (actual card or photo copy) at registration AND weigh-ins. If you do not have a copy of your USA Wrestling Membership Card, please contact your State Membership Director prior to the event. USA Wrestling Athlete Membership Cards can be acquired from the State Chairperson or State Membership Director of the contestant's state of residence or online (click HERE). Secondary sports accident insurance is provided as a benefit of membership.

Also, USA Wrestling Athlete Membership can be purchased on-site. Cost is approximately $45 for a full year membership. These prices are also valid for any International Athletes (including Canadians) wishing to participate in the National Championships (excluding the Senior Divisions) event only.

USA WRESTLING LEADER MEMBERSHIP:

All coaches that wish to gain access to the competition floor to coach athletes must have a current USA Wrestling Leader Card. All USA Wrestling Leader Membership Cards MUST be attained prior to the event, due to mandatory background checking. How do I earn a Copper or Bronze level coaches certification?

Once a coach has their Wrestling Leader Membership with USA Wrestling, they can take the Copper or Bronze level coaches certifications through their membership profile at www.USAWmembership.com.

To purchase, access the course options under the top tab for MANAGE, followed by COACH CERTIFICATIONS in the drop-down.

ADD the desired course to the shopping cart and then check out and pay the course fee.

Once the fee is paid, courses can be accessed under the MY COURSES tab.

As soon as a course is finished, the coach’s profile is updated automatically in our system.

We will send the coach a free new membership card that reflects the certification in about 3 to 4 weeks.

For coaches who need proof of certification sooner, they’ll be able to re-print a membership card from their profile reflecting all current certifications. Any online registration system will see the coach’s certifications as well.

Coaches who have earned both Copper and Bronze level certifications automatically qualify to start Silver level tasks. These tasks can be accessed from the same course area as the Copper and Bronze program. Some really great opportunities at this level!
