A true second will be contested if the 2nd and 3rd place finishers from the weight category at this event did NOT wrestle each other in the tournament. They will wrestle one match at the end of the tournament and the winner of this match (that is, the 2nd place finisher) will qualify for the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Wrestling.

In the case of a double injury default in the finals, the 3rd place finisher will be declared the champion and the 2nd and 3rd place finishers will be determined by UWW Article 8 (classification points)

For all divisions, the current rules of UWW, with USA Wrestling modifications where applicable, will govern the event and the competition.PLEASE NOTE: Wrestlers from the same club must use the same club name or abbreviation during registration in order to insure proper calculation of team points. There will be a blind computer draw after the initial weigh-in. A standard, seeded, double-elimination line bracket, with consolation wrestle-backs to 3rd, 5th, and 7th place will be used.THERE WILL BE NO CLUB SEPARATION.
