SHOWCASE DIVISIONS:

Q: Can I register for both the Showcase Division and the Open Division at the Texas Christmas Showcase tournament? 

A: YES.  The tournament schedule is designed so that in most cases both divisions run in different sessions (ie. AM and PM).  However, please be aware that there are no minimum rest times between matches.  Review the schedule prior to registering for more than one division.  

Q: Can I register in more than one weight class in a Showcase Division?

A: NO

Q: Can I register in more than one grade division in the Showcase?

A: NO, except for 6th grade boys.  6th Grade boys have the option to register for the Boys Elementary Showcase Division, the Boys Middle School Showcase Division, or Both.  However, if a 6th Grader wins the Showcase Boys Elementary Division and also wins the Showcase Boys Middle School Division they will have to choose one qualified spot for Heartland Duals.

Q: What is the Age cutoff for the Showcase Boys Elementary Division?

A: A wrestler cannot register in this division if he is 14 years old or older on April 1st of the following year.

Q: What is the Age cutoff for the Showcase Boys Middle School Division?

A: A wrestler cannot register in this division if he is 16 years old or older on April 1st of the following year.

Q: What is the Age cutoff for the Showcase Girls Division?

A: A wrestler cannot register in this event if she is 16 years old or older on April 1st of the following year.

Q: How do I prove my grade level for the Showcase Division? 

A: TX-USAW will request a copy of your report card if your grade is challenged.  Have a copy with you at the tournament.   

Q: Can a boy register for the Showcase Girl's Division? 

A: NO

Q: Can a girl register for Showcase Boy's Divisions?  

A: NO
