Mandatory Three-Step Registration Process:

Step 1: Current 2026 United World Wrestling License (Deadline: October 16th)

• All participants must possess a current 2026 United World Wrestling (UWW) License.
• If your license is not current:
• Contact Jaimie McNab at Jmcnab@usawrestling.org and submit the following documents by October 16th 
•  Annual Medical Certificate (downloadable here: [Link to Annual Medical Certificate])
•  Digital headshot clearly labeled with your First Name_Last Name
•  Copy of your U.S. Passport (no exceptions)
•  Credit Card Information (Visa/Mastercard)

Step 2: Registration in the United World Wrestling "Athena" System

• Once you have a current 2026 UWW license, contact Jaimie McNab to register in the United World Wrestling "Athena" system.

Step 3: Complete Registration Payment On-Site

• After your entry is processed in the Athena system, you will pay for your registration on-site the night before competition.

ALL FOREIGN ATHLETES MUST CONTACT THEIR FEDERATION TO BE REGISTERED IN ATHENA.  U.S ATHLETES WILL BE REGISTERED AFTER THEY HAVE PURCHASED THEIR UWW LICENSE & HAVE REGISTERED IN THE USA WRESTLING MEMBERSHIP SYSTEM. ATHENA CLOSES OCTOBER 27th

All athletes who are U.S. citizens, meet the Senior age group requirements and have fulfilled the existing qualifying procedures are eligible to participate at the 2025 Bill Farrell Memorial.

Bill Farrell Memorial Registration  - In Athena 

• Athletes Registration $85 per style - Athena Registration Deadline October 27th

ALL REGISTRATION MUST BE DONE ONLINE. THIS INCLUDES LATE REGISTRATION. 

Divisions: 

Seniors (born 2008 or before): +2kg

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR FAILURE TO COMPETE. 

Per UWW regulations, all competitors are required to have UWW license.  Wrestlers must purchase their UWW license in 2025 prior to the Bill Farrell International Open, please bring your personal UWW card or provide the list of athletes of your country at registration.  UWW Licenses CANNOT be sold on-site.

Club Name or Weight Change Instructions: 

• 1. Log back into usawmembership.com 
• 2. Click “Manage” on the top. 
• 3. Click “Event Registration” 
• 4. Select the event you would like to update your weight class or club name. 

In order to change club, the club must be listed as a primary club in the athlete’s profile. This will be found under affiliations. 

USA Wrestling does not charge for adjusting weight classes, even at weigh-ins.
