Novice Girls/Boys, Open Girls/Boys

Wrestling Tournament
Saturday - January 31st, 2026

Sessions -- Novice 9a - 12p, Open 1p - (?)
Location -- TMP, Al Billinger Fieldhouse, 1701 Hall St., Hays, KS
Entry Deadline -- All entries must register and pay fees online via USA Bracketing by 11pm on
Thursday, January 29th. Max. participants for Novice Girls/Boys 200, max.
participants for Open Girls/Boys 250.
Entry Fee -- Non-refundable, $30.00 fee, payable at registration through USA Bracketing
Rules -- All wrestlers must have a USA Wrestling membership. KSHSAA rules will be enforced
during the tournament with kids modifications. There will be no weight changes.
Only 2 coaches will be allowed at mat side. Kids may only sign up in one age/weight
division.
Weigh-in -- Friday, Satellite Weigh Ins 5:00pm - 7:30pm. Weigh in password will be e-mailed
Thursday. We will not accept emailed weigh in sheets. Clubs must enter weights
online. Must weigh in singlet and coaches please check nails and skin.
No weight changes the day of the tournament.
Schedule -- Coaches meeting at 8:30am, wrestling begins at 9:00am
Concessions -- Concessions will be served through the day.
Awards -- Custom “Herd Stampede” medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places
in Open. All Novice wrestlers receive a medal.
