The 48th Annual Tar Heel State Classic is headed back to Chapel Hill! This year's State Classic will include wrestlers from multiple states including Virginia, South Carolina, and Georgia, and more! The State Champion Wrestlers in each weight form the NCHSAA State Championships have FREE ENTRY to this event!

This is THE QUALIFYING EVENT for NC Men’s & Women’s National 14U, 16U, & Junior Dual Teams! The top four wrestlers in each weight/style will be eligible for to represent Team NC in National Duals competition. Competitions will take place Wesley Chapel, FL (14U Boys) , Westfield, IN (14U/16U/JR. Women),  Herriman, UT(16U Men) or Milwaukee, WI (Junior Men)

Preference for slots will be given in order of finish.

Winners (Champions ONLY) in the 16U/Junior divisions also qualify for 16U/Junior Nationals in Fargo, ND.

When: April 18-19 2026

Where: Chapel Hill High School- Chapel Hill, NC

Who: Open to ALL USA MEMBERS FROM ANY STATE!

You must register separately for each style (Greco-Roman, Freestyle)

Entry Fees: $45 per style for Freestyle or Greco. $65 for BOTH STYLES. LATE REGISTRATION WILL ADD $10/STYLE

Spectator Admission: $15 per day or $20 for Both Days

Early Registration Deadline is Noon Wednesday, April 15th. Registration Will remain open until 9pm Friday, April 17th, but price will increase after early registration deadline!!!
