Outstanding Wrestler awarded in each 16U and Junior individual tournament. Team Champions will also be awarded in each style and age group.

To ensure the awards podium ceremony remains a respectful, professional, and celebratory environment focused on athletic achievement, USA Wrestling has established the following policy for the Junior and 16U National Championships.

Team Award

Points will be accumulated based on all place winners from each state in all weight classes.   

• 1st: 25 pts.
• 2nd: 20 pts.
• 3rd: 15 pts.
• 4th: 12 pts.
• 5th: 9 pts.
• 6th: 7 pts.
• 7th: 5 pts.
• 8th: 2 pts

16U and Juniors are eligible to earn points. Points for both styles of the Nationals.

USA Wrestling's Prestigious Triple Crown
All individuals that win USA Wrestling's Triple Crown (achieved by winning the USA Wrestling Folkstyle Nationals, as well as winning both Freestyle and Greco-Roman at this event) will be asked to stay until the conclusion of the event for a Triple Crown winners photograph
