Hotels & Proximity
Downtown Spokane currently offers more than 3,000 hotel room nights within a half-mile walk of The Podium. We are currently contracted with 8 hotel partners through Event Connect with varying prices and amenities. These properties provide consistent quality and athlete-friendly services.  
@Haley Steele can highlight the hotels closest to the Podium at the top of the Event Connect booking platform. 

Let's work together to and develop communication strategies that encourage teams to stay within these recommended blocks to improve convenience, safety, and overall experience.

Parking & Transportation
We encourage teams to park at their host hotels and walk to The Podium. Additionally, there is ample nearby parking that we can clearly communicate to attendees in advance through parking maps, arrival guides, and digital communications. More information is available here: Parking Information.

Downtown Safety & Ambassador Support
It would be beneficial to collaborate with the Downtown Spokane Partnership. Keith Edie your new Event Manager can reach out to their ambassador program regarding key competition hours and the hotels that attendees will be staying at and can provide increased patrol and escorts if desired.

Food & Beverage at The Podium
Levy manages Food & Beverage services onsite and offers the ability to customize menus for sporting events. We can facilitate a meeting with Levy to explore healthier grab-and-go options, pre-ordering for teams, and menu adjustments that better align with athlete nutrition needs.

We are committed to working collaboratively to ensure Spokane continues to provide a safe, convenient, and positive championship environment for athletes, coaches, and families. Our new Events Manager, Keith Edie, will also be supporting USA Wrestling moving forward and will be a dedicated point of contact for ongoing improvements. An official introduction of Keith is on its way!
