Individual Tournament Weight Classes

Only 6U (Pee Wee) & 8U (Bantam), will use scratch weights, this is for both Girls and Boys (i.e., grouping wrestlers within 5 lbs or 10% body weight starting from the lightest wrestler in the age group and moving up. Exception being heavy weights where USA Wrestling has defined weight classes that exceed the 10% rule.). We will try to make up to 16-man brackets in these divisions.

The 10U (Intermediate), 12U (Novice), 14U (Schoolboy), and 16U (Cadet) age groups will use the following weight classes:

BOYS

10U (Intermediate): 49, 53, 56, 59, 63, 67, 71, 77, 84, 93, 105, 120, 140

12U (Novice): 58, 63, 67, 70, 74, 78, 82, 86, 92, 98, 108, 117, 135, 160, 190

14U (Schoolboy): 75,80,84,88,92,96,100,105,110,115,120,126,132,140,155, 175, 225

16U (Cadet): 88, 94, 100, 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 144, 150, 157, 165, 175, 190, 215, 285

Seperation for Boys Brackets:

Folkstyle PIN rating will be used for separation of each bracket up to 50% or a max of 12 with a 1005 being the lowest PIN rating used.

GIRLS

10U (Intermediate) : 45, 49, 53, 57, 62, 67, 73, 80, 90,100,113,120,140

12U (Novice): 55, 59, 64, 69, 75, 81, 87, 94,102,112,126,140,160,190

14U (Schoolgirl):  75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110,115, 120, 125,130,135,140,150,165,180

All divisions will utilize straight line bracketing so that we are able to showcase the placement matches as identified in the schedule.
