COACHES BANDS

All coaches that wish to gain access to the competition floor to coach athletes must have a current USA Wrestling Leader Membership Card. All USA Wrestling Leader Membership Card MUST be attained prior to the event, due to mandatory background checking. For a Coaches Membership Card, please click HERE. 

PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 30 DAYS FOR COMPLETION OF USAW LEADER MEMBERSHIP/BACKGROUND CHECK PROCESS.

COACHES PASSES (WRIST BANDS) ARE REQUIRED FOR FLOOR ACCESS. 

Coaches passes will be available for purchase online for $15.00 per coach up to May 25th 

Coaches passes after May 25th will be $20.00 per coach

Coaches passes after May 25th deadline will be $20.00 per coach. 

All of the following is needed to be eligible for a coaches pass:

- Photo ID
- Current USA Wrestling Leader Membership Card
- NCEP Certification Card - BRONZE or higher.

For U23 age group college teams/RTCs, coaches will receive one (1) complimentary coach pass for every five (5) pre-registered wrestlers from a particular club or school.

**College Teams/RTCs with five (5) or more pre-registered athletes MUST email Christina Hargrove by May 23rd at 5pm EST to confirm you coach passes**  Please add the coach band to your cart before emailing. Once your athlete registrations are verified the pass will be comp'd and you will need to go finalize your cart.  

• Two certified coaches maximum allowed in each competitor's corner. To videotape any match at mat side, the operator must be one of the two certified coaches in the corner.
• Floor passes will only be issued to those individuals with a current USA Wrestling Leader Membership Card and a minimum USAW NCEP Bronze certified (photo I.D. required).

How do I earn a Copper or Bronze level coaches certification?

• Once a coach has their Wrestling Leader Membership with USA Wrestling, they can take the Copper or Bronze level coaches certifications through their membership profile at www.USAWmembership.com.
• To purchase, access the course options under the top tab for MANAGE, followed by COACH CERTIFICATIONS in the drop-down.
• ADD the desired course to the shopping cart and then check out and pay the course fee.
• Once the fee is paid, courses can be accessed under the MY COURSES tab.
• As soon as a course is finished, the coach’s profile is updated automatically in our system.
• We will send the coach a free new membership card that reflects the certification in about 3 to 4 weeks.
• For coaches who need proof of certification sooner, they’ll be able to re-print a membership card from their profile reflecting all current certifications. Any online registration system will see the coach’s certifications as well.
• Coaches who have earned both Copper and Bronze level certifications automatically qualify to start Silver level tasks. These tasks can be accessed from the same course area as the Copper and Bronze program. Some really great opportunities at this level!
