USA Wrestling is excited to announce its annual Kids National Championships is heading to Iowa. The 2025 Kids Nationals will be held at Alliant Energy Powerhouse in Cedar Rapids, Iowa June 27-29, 2025. Kids Nationals host the nation's top wrestlers from ages 7 to 14 in the international styles of freestyle and Greco-Roman.

The 2025 Kids Nationals will feature the 2nd and 3rd leg of USA Wrestling's prestigious Triple Crown, which is awarded to any wrestler who wins USA Wrestling folkstyle, freestyle and Greco-Roman national titles in the same year. 
 

COACHES AND ATHLETES PLEASE BRING A COPY OF YOUR USAW MEMBERSHIP CARD WITH YOU TO THE EVENT. 

This event will feature Freestyle (Boys Only) and Greco-Roman wrestling only

• Girls are only eligible to compete in greco-roman style, there is no freestyle offered for girls at this event. The girls divisions will be combined with the boys divisions for greco-roman.

Eligibility at Kid’s Nationals:

• Each athlete must meet the age group requirements (see Divisions tab) and have the proper USA Wrestling membership (see below). 
• The 2024-2025 Membership Year begins August 21, 2024 and goes through August 31, 2025. 
• This event will feature Freestyle (Boys Only) and Greco-Roman wrestling only

ALL WAIVERS FOR WEIGHT CLASS AND COMPETING MUST BE PROVIDED BY STATE CHAIRPERSON BY JUNE 24TH. 

Approved as of the 2025 USA Wrestling Board of Director’s National Convention: 

• Participation at Regional & National Championships When both regional and/or national championships are offered to both genders in the same style(s) in 14U and below, wrestlers shall only be allowed to compete in the division of his/her gender. USA Bracketing is now live!

USA Bracketing is a comprehensive wrestling tournament software where you can create, customize, and manage wrestling brackets effortlessly with real-time updates.

USA Bracketing offers coaches, parents and fans the ability to follow their favorite wrestlers and have their mat assignments and/or results update automatically on dashboards. Users can also choose to receive this information through either email or text alerts.

As a benefit of membership, USA Wrestling is offering USA Bracketing text alerts free of charge for all Wrestling Leader members.

To take advantage of the free text benefit through USA Bracketing, you will need to either create a new USA Bracketing account with your USA Wrestling ID number, or add your USA Wrestling ID number to an existing account on USA Bracketing.

To add your USA Wrestling ID to an existing account, go to My Account under your username, and add it to the top field labeled USA Wrestling Id.

USA Bracketing is the official tournament software for all USA Wrestling regional and national events.
