Legends Event CenterClub Division Teams (K-8)
Once the deadline for the Club Division Team Rosters has passed and they are set, no moving wrestlers between registered Club Division Team Rosters
A wrestler may only be on one (1) club division team roster
Wrestlers can only wrestle a match at the roster spot their actual weight places them and the one spot higher. No wrestler may wrestle up more than one weight above their roster spot.
If a wrestler does bust weight for their registered spot, then they will automatically be bumped up.
No wrestler can wrestle up more than 15 lbs of their actual weight
A wrestler may NOT wrestle another wrestler more than three (3) grade levels higher.
For example: A 3rd grader can wrestle a 6th grader, but not a 7th grader.
These matchups where the two wrestlers are more than three (3) grades apart will result in a Double Forfeit and will not be a scoring bout for either team.
If you have two wrestlers on your roster at the same weight, then you must wrestle the wrestler that will be within the grade level range for that dual match.
The coaches for both teams will be responsible for verifying the grade level for both wrestlers before their dual with each other starts. Once a match has started, this will no longer be a double forfeit and team score will be scored accordingly.
In the case of a double forfeit for the reason of the age gap rule, the match may still be wrestled as an exhibition
Team Scoring:
6 Points - Pin, DQ, FF
5 Points - Tech
4 Points - Major
3 Points - Decision
A roster can not contain wrestlers from more than 2 teams/clubs. Any wrestlers from additional teams will NOT be able to add any team points to your score and will count as a forfeit and any matches will only be counted as exhibitions. Any free agents placed on your team by the tournament director WILL be able to add team points to your team’s score.
Match Times
ALL matches will be three (3) Periods @ 1.5 min (90 seconds) period lengths (subject to change based on number of teams, mats, and time restraints)
At the end of a dual match between two teams, those teams may wrestle exhibition matches for those extra team members that did NOT get a match during that dual match as long as it does not delay the tournament schedule and the next round of dual matches
Coaches misconduct - 1 team point
Teams limited to a roster of 24 with 20 inidvidiual awards given to each champ team
