• Bantam:  8 and under (Novice and Open)
• Midget: 10 and under (Novice and Open)
• Junior: 12 and under (Novice and Open)

Cut off for age groups is 12/31/2023

A novice is a wrestler that

• is in their 1st or 2nd year    
• has never placed in an open tournament
