Huntington BeachFollowing age-groups weight classes Champions determines U.S. age-group World Teams at the World Championships. Top 3 in each age/weight category quallfy World Team spots. Senior qualification is for upcoming Beach Wrestling World Series Events. Top finishers in the series will be crowned World Champions. Top 3 in U17 and U20 will be eligible for 2025 World Championships
U17 (Male): (Born 2007-2009) - 50 kg, 60 kg, 70 kg, 80+ kg
U17 (Female): (Born 2007-2009) - 40 kg, 50kg, 60 kg, 70+ kg
U20 Freestyle (Male): Born 2004-2007 - 70 kg, 80 kg, 90 kg, 90+ kg
U20 Freestyle (Female): Born 2004-2007 - 50 kg, 60 kg, 70 kg, 70+ kg
Senior Men: (Born 2006 or Before) 70 kg, 80 kg, 90 kg, 90+ kg
Senior Women: (Born 2006 or Before) 50 kg, 60 kg, 70 kg, 70+ kg
Following age-groups weight classes to be determined after weigh-ins using the blocked weight system.
8U: (Born 2016-2017)
10U: (Born 2014-2015)
12U: (Born 2012-2013)
14U: (Born 2010-2011)
16U: (Born 2008-2009)
Junior*: (Born September 1, 2004 & after, plus enrolled in grades 9-12)
Masters:
Master A: Born 1990-1999
Master B: Born 1982-1989
Master C: Born 1974-1981
Master D: Born 1966-1973
Master E: Born 1958-1965
Master F: Born 1949-1957
*Medical certificate is required to compete in Master’s C, D, E, & F and must be turned in during weigh-ins. It must be filled out within 90 days of competition

International Athletes (including Canadians), are eligible in all age group divisions, excluding the U17, U20 and Senior age group divisions (Men and Women).
*JUNIOR DIVISION: Athletes shall be considered eligible to compete in Junior Division competitions if he/she is currently attending high school, or participating in a program considered by the State's Department of Education to be fulfilling the athlete's requirements for graduation from an accredited high school program, or if a summer event, attended high school, or participated in a program considered by the State's Department of Education to be fulfilling the athlete's requirements for graduation from an accredited high school program the Spring semester just prior to the summer event. In addition, the athlete has only four consecutive years to compete in the Junior Division once his/her class begins the ninth grade.
