Midwest Mat of Dreams dual preseason participation is limited. The format has changed to 2 days to allow more mats and more teams. All team leaders must be approved USAW Wrestling Leader Members.

Roster size and composition:

Teams are state-based. Team leaders should build rosters with athletes from their home state, not regional or national teams.

Athletes are strictly divided by grade-Youth division team members must be k-8th.

High School division team members must be 9-12th.

Each team may have up to 3 alternates.
