USA Wrestling presents the Central Regional Championship on May 19-21. This event will take place at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, IN and is a qualifier for the 2023 US Marine Corps Junior National Championships in Fargo, ND on July 14th-22nd in the 16U & Junior Men's and Women's divisions. 

Central Regional Championships offers athletes in 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U & Juniors a chance to compete against some of the best wrestlers in the country. The Central Regionals offers both men and women an opportunity to compete in Freestyle and Greco-Roman styles.  This event is a great preparation for both Kids Nationals and 16U/Junior National Championships.

Weight at Kids Nationals

At Kids Nationals, provided a wrestler has qualified for Kids Nationals or been granted a waiver to compete, he/she may not compete lower than the lowest weight weighed in at any regional, minus one weight class.

Eligibility at Kids Nationals

In order to be eligible for Kids Nationals, one must compete in any regional or obtain a waiver to compete from his/her state chairperson.
