Dual Registration Opens September 15
2022 King and Queen of the Mountain Duals:
Online Deposit Due: November 1
Team Roster Deadline: November 15
Teams interested in competing MUST pay the deposit by November 1st through USA Wrestling Memberships sytem. Teams have three option in completing their registration payment.
1. First Payment, due November 1 - $100
2. Second Payment, due before compeition weigh-in - $375
3. Or third payment option, full payment - Full payment of $475
Eligibility: The Duals event are welcome to all USA Wrestling sanctioned clubs. All dual team athletes must also be registered for the individual tournament at the 2022 King & Queen of the Mountain. To request form information, please email Richard Razo at email@example.com
Queen of the Mountain Dual - wrestlers currently enrolled in 1st-8th grade.
Weight Classes (QOM): 45, 50, 58, 65, 73, 82, 87, 95, 101, 115, 135
King of the Mountain Dual - wrestlers currently enrolled in K-6th grade.
Weight Classes (KOM K-6): 45, 49, 53, 56, 59, 63, 67, 71, 77, 84, 92, 100, 120
Wrestlers must be prepared to show proof of grade if challenged.
Awards: The Top-Three teams will receive awards and the winning teams will be recognized following the conclusion of the Duals.
Entry fee: $475 per team. USA Wrestling will send an invoice for payments to the registered teams.
Deadlines and Requirements:
Each athlete must have a current USA Wrestling Membership and be listed on the team roster. A $100 team deposit must be made through USA Wrestling Event Registration - King & Queen of the Mountain – Dual Team Registration by November 1. All coaches must have a current USA Wrestling Leader membership.
Dual weigh-ins will be taken from the individual tournament weigh-in. These weigh-ins will count for King & Queen of the Mountain duals, however, each athlete who weighs-in for the duals must wrestle at least one match during the individual tournament of King & Queen of the Mountain.
Team Seeding Criteria: (enter only highest point value per wrestler)
A. Kids/Girls Folkstyle National Champion: 5 points
B. Previous year Women’s Nationals/ Current year Girls Tour of America National Champion: 4 points
C. Current year Boys Tour of America National Champion: 4 points
D. Previous year Kids/Girls Folkstyle National Place Winner: 3 points
E. Previous year Women’s Nationals /Current year Girls Tour of America National Placer: 3 points
F. Current year Boys Tour of America National Placer: 3 points
G. Current year Kids Regional (only 1 regional per athlete) Champion: 2 points
