COACHES AND ATHLETES PLEASE BRING A COPY OF YOUR USAW MEMBERSHIP CARD WITH YOU TO THE EVENT. 

UWW U23, UWW U20 Junior, UWW U17 Cadet, and UWW U15 Divisions: Coach band will be available for purchase to those individuals with a current USA Wrestling Leader Membership Card and are a minimum USAW NCEP Bronze certified. This rule also applies to all Canadian coaches.

14U and below Divisions: Coach band will be available for purchase to those individuals with a current USA Wrestling Leader Membership Card and are a minimum USA Wrestling NCEP Copper certified. This rule also applies to all Canadian coaches. One certified coach maximum allowed in each competitors' corner. To videotape any match at mat side, the operator must be the certified coach in the corner. 

Coaches Bands will cost $20.00.

The 2021-2022 Membership Year begins September 1st, 2021 and goes through August 31st, 2022.

Current USA Wrestling Leader Card & NCEP certification REQUIRED FOR FLOOR ACCESS. 

IMPORTANT NOTE!

At USA Wrestling Regional and National Championships, coaching credentials will only be issued to Wrestling Leader members at least 18 years of age who meet the appropriate NCEP certification requirement.  For the safety of all, minors may not accompany credentialed coaches to the competition floor.

All coaches that wish to gain access to the competition floor to coach athletes must have a USA Wrestling Leader Membership Card and BRONZE/COPPER NCEP Coaches Certification. This MUST be attained prior to the event, due to mandatory background checks and SafeSport certification.  For a Leader Membership Card, please click HERE. How do I earn a Copper or Bronze level coaches certification?

Once a coach has their Wrestling Leader Membership with USA Wrestling, they can take the Copper or Bronze level coaches certifications through their membership profile at www.USAWmembership.com.

To purchase, access the course options under the top tab for MANAGE, followed by COACH CERTIFICATIONS in the drop-down.

ADD the desired course to the shopping cart and then check out and pay the course fee.

Once the fee is paid, courses can be accessed under the MY COURSES tab.

As soon as a course is finished, the coach’s profile is updated automatically in our system.

We will send the coach a free new membership card that reflects the certification in about 3 to 4 weeks.

For coaches who need proof of certification sooner, they’ll be able to re-print a membership card from their profile reflecting all current certifications. Any online registration system will see the coach’s certifications as well.

Coaches who have earned both Copper and Bronze level certifications automatically qualify to start Silver level tasks. These tasks can be accessed from the same course area as the Copper and Bronze program. Some really great opportunities at this level!
