USA Wrestling Western Regionals heads back to Farmington, UT on May 12-14,2022. This event will take place at the Legacy Event Center and is a qualifier for the 2022 US Marine Corps Junior National Championships in Fargo, ND on July 15th-22nd in the 16U & Junior Men's divisions. 

 

The Western Regional offers athletes in 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U & Juniors a chance to compete against some of the best wrestlers in the country.  The Western Regional offers both men and women an opportunity to compete in Freestyle and Greco-Roman styles.  This event is a great preparation for both Kids Nationals and 16U/Junior National Championships.

Weight at Kids Nationals

At Kids Nationals, provided a wrestler has qualified for Kids Nationals or been granted a waiver to compete, he/she may not compete lower than the lowest weight weighed in at any regional, minus one weight class.

Eligibility at Kids Nationals

In order to be eligible for Kids Nationals, one must compete in any regional or obtain a waiver to compete from his/her state chairperson.
