In Effect for World Team Trials

To respond to an increase in COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths, the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) issued a new local Directed Health Measure (DHM) that includes a mask requirement. The DHM will require all individuals ages two and older – regardless of vaccination status – to wear a mask when they are in an indoor space at all times. 

The DHM went into effect at 12:01 a.m. Thursday, August 26 and continues until September 30, when it will be reevaluated.  

The DHM includes exceptions. Masks are not required for the following:

• Individuals eating or drinking or seated to eat or drink
• Those exercising 
• Those engaged in an occupation that prevents the wearing of a mask
• Those obtaining a service or purchasing goods or services that requires the temporary removal of the mask
• A person giving a speech, lecture, or broadcast to an audience as long as six feet of distance from other individuals is maintained
• Those individuals who cannot otherwise wear a mask because of a medical condition, a mental health condition, or a disability that prevents the wearing of masks
• Courts of law; meetings or sessions of the Nebraska Legislature; individuals accessing federal, state, county, or city government services; congregate living settings; group homes and residential drug and/or mental health treatment facilities; or shelters

Coach Bands - For the 2021 Senior World Team Trials, only one (1) coach will be allowed in the corner. 

Coaches Bands will be available for purchase starting Aug 25, 2021 

For all divisions, only coaches with a current USA Wrestling Wrestling Leader Membership can purchase a Coaches Floor Pass. Coaches must be affliated with a competing athlete.   USA Wrestling reserves the right to adhere to strict two (2) coaches per athlete and impose limitations for competing clubs.   

- Online Bronze certified or higher coaches floor pass: $20.00. Deadline is Wednesday, September 8th. This will count as your admission to the event!

All of the following is needed to be eligible for a coaches pass:

- Photo ID
- Current USA Wrestling Leader Membership Card
- NCEP Certification Card - BRONZE or higher.

Senior clubs and College programs will receive one (1) complimentary coaches floor pass for every three (3) athletes per style entered in the Senior World Team Trials. (3 athletes= 1 comp coach)
In order to receive a complimentary coaches floor pass, email Christina Hargrove at chargrove@usawrestling.org by Monday, September 6th at 7pm CT.  If you miss this deadline, you will not receive complimentary passes. 

You will be ask to do the following:

1. Add the Coach(s) receiving the comp pass to your USAW shopping cart

2. Email Christina the Athletes Name(s) registered for your team

3. Once the Athletes are verified the coaches in your cart will be comped. 

4. Deadline to request complimentary coach pass is Monday, September 6th at 7pm CT.

All coaches that wish to gain access to the competition floor to coach athletes must have a current USA Wrestling Leader Card. All USA Wrestling Leader Membership Cards MUST be attained prior to the event, due to mandatory background checking.
