USA Wrestling has developed a new series of competitions to give high school boys and girls from across the nation a chance to showcase their talents on a national level. We are excited to announce the inagaural High School National Recruiting Showcase on March 25-27, 2021 in Coralville, IA! 

The High School National Recruiting Showcase will be held alongside the annual USA Wrestling Girls Folkstyle Nationals Championships.

Air Force Academy, American International College, Aurora University, Brown University, Bucknell University, Calumet College of St. Joseph, Coe College, Colorado Mesa University, Cornell College – Iowa, Cornell University, Fontbonne University, Kent State University, Life University, Long Island University, Menlo College, Michigan State University, Minot State University, Nebraska Wesleyan University, North Central College, Ohio University, Oregon State University, Southern Virginia University, Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, University of Arkansas at Little Rock, University of Chicago, University of Jamestown, University of Mary, University of North Carolina at Pembroke, University of Rio Grande (OH), University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, University of the Ozarks, University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, Wabash College, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, York College of Pennsylvania.

HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR THE NATIONAL RECRUITING SHOWCASE? 

All High School state champions and National Prep champions (any year) automatically qualify for the High School National Recruiting Showcase for both boys and girls (they would not need to attend a qualifier). 

High School State champions are defined as High School state association sanctioned state champions for boys in Folkstyle, and both state association sanctioned champions and recognized unofficial state champions for girls in Folkstyle.

USA Wrestling will be hosting Eight (8) National Recruiting Showcase Qualifiers held in strategic locations across the nation during the 10-day period of March 12-21. Each National Recruiting Showcase Qualifier is open to all high school athletes from any state, giving wrestlers an option to compete in the most convenient location. The top eight place winners in each weight class in the eight qualifiers will also earn a spot in the High School National Recruiting Showcase.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO WRESTLE THE SAME WEIGHT AT THE SHOWCASE THAT YOU WRESTLED AT THE QUALIFIER!

 

COVID - 19 Screening Information: 
 

The High School National Recruiting Showcase will be conducted following the requirements of the state and local health authorities, as well as using the safety provisions of the USA Wrestling Return to Events Guidelines. USA Wrestling and the local organizers will monitor data and local trends closely leading up to the event.

In an effort to mitigate COVID-19 and protect our members, everyone entering the venue must wear a mask and/or proper fitting face covering and be subjected to a daily screening through the USAW Membership system. Anyone who does not comply with this will be asked to leave. Please visit "Covid-19 Requirements" tab for screening instructions.  

COACHES AND ATHLETES PLEASE BRING A COPY OF YOUR USAW MEMBERSHIP CARD WITH YOU TO THE EVENT.
