For all divisions, the current rules of UWW, with USA Wrestling modifications where applicable, will govern the event and the competition.

16U and Juniors
Line Bracketing with double elimination will be used for brackets with 6 or more, and with five (5) or less will use a round robin system. Contestants are randomly drawn by computer. Wrestlers will be separated by state and club. 

8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, and Girls
Line bracketing with double elimination will be used for all 10U, 12U, and 14U brackets. Wrestlers will be separated by state and club (no seeding, separation only). Brackets with five (5) or less will compete in a round robin format.

In the Kids & 16U Divisions, weights with two (2) competitors will wrestle two (2) out of three (3) to determine region champion.
