CLICK FOR FULL OLYMPIC TRIALS UNIFORM GUIDELINES

There are some unique parameters around the 2020 Olympic Trials since it is owned by the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee, not USA Wrestling. Please see Uniform Guidelines link “Above” for the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Wrestling.

A few key items to note:

  • Singlets (and shoes) may include the manufacturer logo, but absolutely NO other commercial markings or brands may be featured or represented on the athlete’s uniform
  • Singlets can feature up to two (2) club logos in the approved locations, as long as the clubs have current club sanctions by January 22nd, 2020 and are in good standing with USA Wrestling
  • In order to ensure all singlets are in compliance with these special guidelines, please submit a design of the singlet to Morgan Rabine, mrabine@usawrestling.org, no later than February 28th, 2020

If you qualify for the 2020 Olympic Trials you will have to fill out a Consent and Release form prior to competition.

In addition to the uniform guidelines, please be aware that using the event name, the Olympic Rings, the word Olympic or Olympian (depending on the specific context), or protected terms such as Team USA or Road to Tokyo on any kind of apparel items (regardless of whether it is being sold or given away) or social media/web content may constitute a violation of the USOPC’s intellectual property.

It is very important that all parties adhere to Rule 40 and Rule 50 guidelines, as well as respect the intellectual property of the IOC, the USOPC, and USA Wrestling. If you have any questions on how to navigate this space and not risk possible action against either your brand or your athletes please do not hesitate to contact Ryan Johnson at rjohnson@usawrestling.org and we will walk through it together.
