We will be spot checking wrestlers on Saturday morning/afternoon that weigh-in at your locations. They should be within a reasonable weight from what you enter them.
USA Wrestling evaluates satellite weigh-in locations on a first-come-first-serve basis. There will only be allowed ONE weigh-in location within a 30 mile radius.
Each club must have a minimum of TEN wrestlers preregistered and paid before submitting the weigh-in contract.
Athletes must be present in a COMPETITION SINGLET OR A TWO-PIECE UNIFORM (see below for two-piece guidelines).
In the event of injury or illness, NO contestant will be permitted to continue the competition without approval of the Chief Medical Officer, whose decision is final and not subject to appeal.

ATTENTION CLUBS AND COACHES! You have the option to run your own satellite weigh-ins. Applications for satellite weigh-ins must emailed to chargrove@usawrestling.org by Friday, November 8th.
Registration & Weigh-in Procedures:
Wrestlers must pick up their weigh in card and proceed to the weigh-in line. A current USAW card needs to be shown at check-in.
They must submit to a skin disease screening prior to weigh-ins. The chief medical officer has full authority without appeal in determining the eligibility of an athlete to compete. Parents/coaches cannot accompany the wrestlers. They will not be allowed to carry additional clothing or anything other than the weigh-in card with them during weigh-ins.
Athletes must weigh-in wearing a competition approved singlet or two-piece uniform (wearing only the bottoms of a two-piece uniform will not be allowed). No weight allowance will be given for the uniform. Guidelines for the two-piece uniforms are as follows: wrestlers can wear compression or board shorts and a tight-fitting sleeveless, short, or long sleeve shirt. The shorts shall not be excessively baggy or have pockets, buttons, or snaps.
Weigh-in cards must be left in the weigh-in area. Do NOT leave the weigh-in area with your weigh-in card.
Transgender Policy
USA Wrestling deems it necessary to ensure, insofar as possible, that transgender athletes are not excluded from the opportunity to participate in wrestling competitions. As such, USA Wrestling’s Gender Policy is based on the results and guidelines of the IOC actions.
Please read the transgender policy document in its entirety in order to understand the guidelines USA Wrestling follows in regards to transgender athletes competing at USA Wrestling events.
Changing Weights
USA Wrestling does not charge for changing weights at Tour of America events. If you are too heavy for your preregistered weight then you will be bumped up to the next weight class. There are also two ways to adjust your preregistered weight class
If preregistration is still open, you can use your invoice number and password to log back into your registration and adjust your weight
If preregistration is closed, then at weigh-ins pick up your weigh-in card and proceed to the scale. At the scale, inform the official of the weight class you wish to change to.

USA WRESTLING NATIONAL EVENTS
CONCUSSION MANAGEMENT and UNCONSCIOUSNESS of COMPETITOR
USA WRESTLING NATIONAL EVENTS COORDINATOR will appoint a designated Medical Services Coordinator and/or Tournament Medical Director for each USA Wrestling International, National and Regional Event. This must be a medical professional licensed or Certified Health Care Provider. All on-site medical decisions by the Tournament Medical Coordinator/Physician Director are not subject to appeal or protest and are made in the best interest of the health and well being of the wrestler.
All competitors in a USA Wrestling International, National and Regional event must receive a copy of the rule related to Medical Coordinator/Physician Director and Concussion Management Protocol prior to competition.
USA WRESTLING CONCUSSION MANAGEMENT PROTOCOL
If a wrestler becomes unconscious or referee, coach, athlete or medical provider suspects a wrestler may have received a concussion; the match must be stopped and a tournament medical staff person will assess the wrestler. The tournament medical staff will have unlimited time to determine if the wrestler can continue. (Change from USA Rules to UWW rules).
If the wrestler is allowed to continue the match; after completion of the match the wrestler must be escorted to the Medical area and must be given a recognized concussion evaluation which is documented by tournament medical staff. The tournament medical staff will complete a YELLOW Medical Alert and until the wrestler is granted GREEN Alert by tournament medical staff the wrestler is on a Medical Hold.
If the Tournament Medical staff determine the wrestler has a concussion or was determined unconscious by the Tournament Medical Staff on the Mat or post match the following procedure must be followed:
