For the standard USA Wrestling age and weight categories, double-elimination line-bracketing with complete wrestle-backs to sixth (6th) place, including True 2nd Place matches if 2nd Place and 3rd Place have not already wrestled in the tournament.  No Double Bracketing allowed
Weight classes with four (4) wrestlers or fewer will wrestle a Round Robin format.

The Tournament Director has the right to group the Girls Division weight classes to maximize the wrestling opportunity for the athletes.
Brackets will be seeded with TrackWrestling Rankings. Wrestlers with a ranking .9 and above with at least 3 events in their profile will receive a seed. In addition to that, wrestlers will be separated by state wherever possible.

For the True Beginner divisions, wrestlers will be grouped into 4-man round robins with wrestlers similar in weight. Each wrestler will have three (3) matches (this may vary depending on participation levels).

BRACKET CHANGES WILL BE MADE UP UNTIL 1 HOUR PRIOR TO THE START OF THE WRESTLING SESSION. Please contact the tournament director with any issues (ie: wrestler missing from bracket or incorrect weight) by email at least 2 HOURS PRIOR to the start of the wrestling session or please come to the headtable.

Rules

National Federation of State High School Association scoring rules with USA Wrestling modifications will govern the competition. These USA Wrestling modifications include the following:

1. Headgear is MANDATORY for all competitors
2. Mouth guards are not required for wrestlers (even wrestlers with braces)
3. Rest time in between matches is a minimum of 15 minutes
4. A match can be started when a wrestler does not have a coach
5. The three-quarter nelson with leg hook IS legal in USAW Folkstyle Events
6. The double arm bar with sit out is illegal

USA Wrestling rules governing ages, weights and match time will take precedence where applicable.
