Membership/Eligibility: This is a Take A Shot on MN/USA Wrestling Tournament! You do not need to be a current MN/USA Wrestling member to participate as free (complimentary) single day membership/licenses will be offered to enable wrestlers in Northern MInnesota as an opportunity toward MN/USA region or state qualification pathways!

For Non-USAW members, follow the instructions here on how to register:

• First, go to https://www.usawmembership.com and parent creates an account.
• Then, create a profile under that account for each wrestler you plan to register. If a wrestler already has a profile, click "Claim Profile" by searching.
• Once your USAW account and profiles are setup. Login to usabracketing.com. You can login using the same email address as connected to your USAW account and associated profiles.
• Add and link the profiles to your usabracketing account, using the the usaw_id numbers from the USAW membership system when you register.
• The single event license will be added to your usabracketing.com registration cart.

Arrival: Doors open at 8:30am

Format: Scratch weight. 4-man round-robin brackets when possible.

Weigh-Ins: Random Weight Audits will be done-please see weigh in tab for further information. 

Check-Ins: Please check your wrestler in when they arrive at the event. You do not need to wait until their check in time.

Registration Cost: $20 Entry Fee (wrestlers) pre-registration online only via usabracketing.com. Registration will close by 1/30/2026 @ 8pm (no exceptions). A current USAW card or 1 day membership is needed to register and participate at the tournament. No walk-up/same day registration allowed. During registration, it is highly recommended to enter a weight that your wrestler will be comfortably no more than 3% above. See pre-registration instructions on the Registration Info tab.

Admissions: $10 General Admission. Coaches with a current 2026-27 USAW Leader Membership card get in free.

TOURNAMENT WITHDRAWALS / IMPORTANT NOTE: If your wrestler pulls out of the tournament, please call or send an email to the tournament director Les Fuenffinger (dadfinger@yahoo.com / or 218-929-1929)  so we are not waiting for your wrestler to start the session.
