Requirements: Two Freestyle Qualifiers are Required to be completed before registering for Men’s or Women’s Freestyle State. Wrestlers may register after 1pm on the Monday after completing the second qualifier or after 1pm on 4/30/26 if competing in a last chance qualifier on 4/28 or 4/29/26. (No qualifiers are required for Men’s/Women’s Greco State)

• Early Registration: $50 for 1 Style, $75 for 2 Styles – Before April 30th @ 8pm Est

• Final Registration: $100 per style - After April 30th @ 8pm EST

• Register by April 26th @ 8pm to have your name included on the official 3X event shirt

• CLUB AFFILIATION: Make sure prior to registering your wrestler’s club affiliation is updated on their profile. UPDATING CLUB AFFILIATION AFTER REGISTERING: Once the club is updated and listed on your USA Wrestling profile, you can then go to Manage>Registrations to update the club on your registration. • 2025–2026 USA Wrestling Age Verified Competitor Card required - Age must be verified. Do this by emailing a copy of birth certificate or state ID to office@iswa.com before registering for this event.

• RESIDENCY POLICY This state competition is for Indiana residents only! Under no circumstances will out-of-state wrestlers be allowed to participate. In case of a protest, full-time Indiana residency must be verified. Indiana school enrollment will determine residency, if other verification is unavailable or not satisfactory. The wrestler will then be required to produce a copy of a recent report card or school ID to participate.

• Athletes may compete in only one division per day & must compete in the division of their gender.

Weigh-Ins (Boys & Girls)

Friday: All Freestyle wrestlers (Boys/Girls) Time: 6:30 – 9:00 PM

Sunday: Greco Only Wrestlers (Boys/Girls) Time: 7:30 – 8:00 AM

• NO weight allowance

• NO check Scale

• All weigh-ins will consist of (1) weigh-in and (1) immediate challenge. Wrestlers will not be allowed to leave the weigh-in area. The ISWA does not charge for adjusting weight classes after you register. You are free to adjust your weight class at any time, up until weigh-ins.

• Only athletes will be allowed in the weigh in area. ATHLETES MUST HAVE USAW CARDS WITH THEM TO WEIGH IN! After weighing in, no changes may be made.

• SKIN CHECKS Upon arrival, wrestlers will proceed directly to skin checks and weigh-ins. Certified Athletic Trainers will be on site to conduct skin checks prior to weigh-ins. All decisions by the trainers regarding participation will be final! (For details, go to www.iswa.com and select Sports Medicine under the Tournaments tab) (Sports Medicine information includes Skin Check information and a Physician’s Release for Wrestlers.) This is the only form that is accepted and must be presented to the trainer at the time of skin check.

Singlets

• Weigh-Ins: Any UNMODIFIED singlet, with no restriction on color

• Competition: A singlet must meet the following requirements to be allowed, but officials reserve the right to mat-side to reject or accept any singlet in question. o Any singlet predominately RED or BLUE o Any singlet that meets the 3inch/7cm RED or BLUE striping on the legs and back, as outlined in the USAW Rules Handbook or UWW Rulebook.

• SESSION2: 1:30PM ET– 10U, 12U, 16U, Univ, Senior, Veteran

• SESSION1: 9AM ET – 10U, 14U, 16, Univ, Senior, Veteran

• SESSION2: 12PM ET – 6U, 8U 12U, JR

Awards

• Custom awards for Top 8 in each weight class

• Championship T-Shirt for 1st Place, Freestyle 1st Place finishers will also receive a Championship singlet. 

• Team Competition: Limited to 2025-2026 ISWA member clubs only! Custom plaques will be presented to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place clubs in Small, Medium and Large club categories. An Academy club (as defined by the ISWA Board of Directors) & Women’s Club plaques are awarded to the 1st – 3rd place. Clubs must have 6 or more affiliated wrestlers to enter a team competition.

Spectator Pass: $22 (includes Gofan fee)

• Wristband is valid for all sessions on Saturday & Sunday. Keep your wristband.

•  PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST WRESTLE AT THIS EVENT IN ORDER TO WRESTLE AT CENTRAL REGIONALS ON MAY 15-17th, 2026 in Louisville, KY. YOU MUST ALSO WRESTLE AT CENTRAL REGIONALS OR MEET ONE OF THE OTHER SELECTION CRITERIA, IN ORDER TO ATTEND FARGO IN JULY.

• An Open License is required for all University, Senior and Veteran wrestlers and can also be purchased through www.usawmemberhip.com

• PAIRING: Line Bracketing will be used with seeding by using the corresponding USAW PIN ranking.  Freestyle will use the Freestyle PIN ranking, and Greco will use the Greco PIN Ranking.

• PLACEMENT MATCHES: Placement matches will be wrestled with a formal award presentation for each weight class held at the conclusion.

•  Vendor: 3X Gear is our exclusive tournament vendor for all of this year’s ISWA State Tournaments.

WHAT COACHES NEED TO KNOW

EACH CLUB WILL RECEIVE TWO (2) FREE COACHES BANDS. AN EMAIL WILL BE SENT TO THE ADMIN CLUB EMAIL ADDRESS ON FILE ATTACHED TO THE CHARTER WITH DETAILS ON HOW TO SUBMIT THE NAMES FOR THE TWO (2) SELECTED COACHES. THE SELECTED COACHES MUST MEET ALL REQUIREMENTS (VALID USAW MEMBERSHIP/COPPER, BRONZE OR GOLD CERTIFIED) AND THE AUTHORIZED CLUB EMAIL MUST CONFIRM THE NAMES OF THE SELECTED COACHES NO LATER THAN THURSDAY, APRIL 30TH AT 8PM EST. ANY QUESTIONS ON COACHES BANDS PLEASE EMAIL JENNIFER.PIERSON@ISWA.COM. All other coaches must register and purchase a coach’s pass online at ww.usawmembership.com.

• COST: $10 – and is valid for both days and includes admission and matside access (no spectator pass required).

• Coach wristbands will only be issued to coaches who hold a current USA Wrestling Leader Card and are USAW/NCEP Copper Certified or higher.

COACHING BAND PICK-UP SCHEDULE:

Friday: 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM during weigh-ins

Saturday & Sunday: Enter door #28 & 31 to get your bands at the entrance tables

No refunds At Pick up: Coaches must present their Leader Card at check-in.

If the card does not include a photo, a photo ID is required.

NOTE:

 • Coaches will be fitted with one wristband only at check-in. Do not remove the wristband.  Only one wristband will be issued per coach.

• All required USAW credentials and leader cards can be completed online at www.usawmembership.com.

TABLE HELP FOR TEAM POINTS: The ISWA encourages 4-6 volunteers per club to work a team dedicated scoring table. By volunteering, teams can earn 12 club team points toward their team competition score for both Freestyle and Greco. Volunteers will also receive a volunteer shirt, food & drinks (while working). REQUIRED: Send an email to jennifer.pierson@iswa.com or complete the online signup form by April 27th to be eligible to receive the team points and submit shirt sizes. Table must be covered duration of event.
