Registration Fee:

• $30 per wrestler if registered by Monday, February 16 — 9:00 AM
• $35 during the final 24 hours

Registration Closes:

• Tuesday, February 17 — 9:00 AM

Eligibility:

• Divisions: 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U
• No High School wrestlers
• 8th graders age 15 or older are not eligible for Qualifiers or State
• No girls brackets at qualifiers (girls do not need to qualify for Girls State)

Registration Changes

Please review registrations carefully.
Any changes or corrections must be submitted by 9:00 AM on Tuesday the 17th.
After registration closes, updates can no longer be made.
 
Each wrestler may register for only one qualifier.
If multiple qualifier registrations are submitted, they will be removed and are not eligible for refund.

Weight Classes

Wrestlers must compete in the weight class for which they register.

• Wrestlers who do not make weight cannot move to another class.
• If a weight class has only one entry, the wrestler must still weigh in.
• Wrestlers who do not weigh in will not qualify for State.

Age Divisions

Wrestlers must compete within their assigned age division.
 
Second-year athletes in an age group must remain in that division.
(example: 2nd-year 6U, 8U, 10U, or 12U may not move up).

Weigh-In Schedule

Session 1 — 6U / 8U

• Weigh-ins: 6:30–7:15 AM
• Wrestling begins: 8:00 AM

Session 2 — 10U

• Weigh-ins: 9:30–10:15 AM
• Wrestling begins: 11:00 AM

Session 3 — 12U / 14U

• Weigh-ins: 12:30–1:15 PM
• Wrestling begins: 2:00 PM

Please plan to weigh in during your assigned session.
Weigh-ins cannot be completed early or during another session.

Coaching Credentials

Only USA Wrestling Bronze Certified coaches will have floor access at Qualifiers and Kids State tournaments.

(Standard for Team Georgia events)

• Family Pass — $10
• Adult — $7

Qualifying for Kids State

Top 1–4 finishers from each qualifier automatically qualify.
 
If a bracket is not full, additional qualifying spots will be awarded based on results from the largest qualifier brackets in that age/weight. (Example provided in original documentation.)
 
If a qualifying wrestler does not complete registration by the deadline:

• Alternate placements will be contacted via email
• Registration will be added to their USA Wrestling account cart
• Payment deadline: 9:00 AM Thursday, February 26
• Unpaid registrations will be removed

Communication regarding alternate qualification will be sent directly — there is no need to request placement updates.
