**This Event is a DOUBLE POINTS QUALIFIER w/FREE MN/USA Take-A-Shot 1 Day Membership Available!

Membership/Eligibility: This is a Take A Shot on MN/USA Wrestling Tournament! You do not need to be a current MN/USA Wrestling member to participate! 

• For this particular event, for those without USAW athlete memberships...MN/USA Wrestling will be covering the cost of the Single Event License. So, you do NOT need to have a USAW athlete membership card to participate.
• All that is required is to create your USA (free) account and pay the registration fee (see below) to compete!
• All individuals with USAW athlete memberships are also welcome too, but it's not a requirement to participate for this event.

Arrival: Doors open at 8:30am

Format: Scratch weight. 4-man round-robin brackets when possible.

Weigh-Ins: Random Weight Audits will be done-please see weigh in tab for further information. 

Check-Ins: Please check your wrestler in when they arrive at the event. You do not need to wait until their check in time.

Registration Cost: $20 Entry Fee (wrestlers) pre-registration online only via usabracketing.com. Registration will close by 1/30/2026 @ 8pm (no exceptions). A current USAW card or 1 day membership is needed to register and participate at the tournament. No walk-up/same day registration allowed. During registration, it is highly recommended to enter a weight that your wrestler will be comfortably no more than 3% above. See pre-registration instructions on the Registration Info tab.

Age Divisions 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U. See Divisions for more information. 

Admissions: $7 General Admission, $5 Students and Seniors, Children under 5 are FREE, as are coaches with a current 2025-26 MN/USA card

Concessions Available all day

Awards: 1st – 4th place

TOURNAMENT WITHDRAWALS / IMPORTANT NOTE: If your wrestler pulls out of the tournament, please call or send an email to the tournament director Les Fuenffinger (dadfinger@yahoo.com / or 218-929-1929)  so we are not waiting for your wrestler to start the session.
