Dean Sheets Memorial Classic Open/Novice & Girls Tournament 

Date: Sunday, January 25, 2026

Place: De Soto High School, 35000 W 91st St, De Soto, KS 66018 

Entry Fee: $25 per wrestler (non-refundable)

Registration: All wrestlers must be registered by Wednesday, January 21st. Entries limited to the first 300 wrestlers per session. Ranking critical, all wrestlers will be bracketed by rank. A=State qualifier B=Good (usually places) C=Experienced D=Beginner 1st year 

Weigh-in: Home-site weigh-ins will be used. Weigh-ins must be submitted via email by Friday, January 24th, by 8pm to www.usawmembership.com or wrestlers will be deleted from our tournament. Skin and nail checks to be performed by your coaches. We reserve the right to check. 

Times: Coaches Meeting 7:30AM 

AM Session 8:00AM (6U, 10U, 14U) 

PM Session at 11:30AM or the conclusion of the AM session (8U, 12U, Girls) 

Divisions: 

GIRLS Must compete in girls’ divisions only. 

6U/8U/10U/12U/14U: Will use Madison block weights. 

BOYS 

6U: will use block weights to get matches 

8U: 40, 43, 46, 49, 52, 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 73, 76, 80, 88, 95, 110,125,140 

10U: 52, 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 73, 76, 79, 82, 85, 90, 95, 100, 110, 120, 130, 150, 170,190 

12U: 60, 64, 68, 72, 76, 80, 84, 88, 92, 96, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 130, 140, 150, 165, 190, 215, 240, 265

14U (Open Only): 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130, 135, 140, 145, 150, 155, 160, 165, 175, 205, 235, 265 

We will utilize round robin & double elimination brackets. Weights may be combined! 

Custom Medals. 1st through 4th place medal. 

Admissions: $5; Wrestlers free and Coaches free when current coaches card shown 

Concessions: Breakfast and Lunch will be available. No food or drinks in the gym.

Wrestlers with any skin disorders must have a medical sheet filled out and recently completed by their doctor.
