USA Wrestling presents the Northern Plains Regional Championship, May 8-10 2026. This event will take place at the UCR Fieldhouse, RCTC Campus, Rochester MN, and is a qualifier for the 2026 Junior National Championships in Fargo, ND on July 10th-18th in the 16U & Junior Men's and Women's divisions. 

Northern Plains Regional offers athletes in 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U & Juniors a chance to compete against some of the best wrestlers in the country. The Northern Plains Regionals offer men and women an opportunity to compete in Freestyle and Greco-Roman styles. This event is a great preparation for both Kids Nationals and 16U/Junior National Championships.

We are looking for table workers for USA Wrestling's  Northern Plains Regional Championships May 9-10-11 at the UCR Arena, RCTC Campus, Rochester, MN. Table workers would just have to do scoring on a mat-side computer during the matches. Table workers will be paid $75 for working the full day If interested please email.

Approved as of the 2023 USA Wrestling Board of Director’s National Convention: 

• Participation at Regional & National Championships When both regional and/or national championships are offered to both genders in the same style(s) in Junior and 16U, wrestlers shall only be allowed to compete in the division of his/her gender.
   
• Participation at Regional & National Championships When both regional and/or national championships are offered to both genders in the same style(s) in 14U and below, wrestlers shall only be allowed to compete in the division of his/her gender. 

Kids Nationals

• There are no eligibility requirements for Kids Nationals other than an up-to-date membership.

Junior & 16U Nationals (FARGO) Qualifications

• All athletes who wish to participate in this event must go through their respective state to register.  This is not an open event. For additional information on how to qualify or attend please contact your respective state representative CLICK HERE!

• Please reach out to your state chairperson on how to qualify for their state's 52nd  Annual USA Wrestling Junior & 16U National Championships (July 11-19, 2025) team.
• State teams shall be limited to four (4) wrestlers per age per style per weight class. Wrestlers who earn automatic qualifier status shall not count against any limit.

There will be no folkstyle division at this event.

USA Bracketing is a comprehensive wrestling tournament software where you can create, customize, and manage wrestling brackets effortlessly with real-time updates.

USA Bracketing offers coaches, parents and fans the ability to follow their favorite wrestlers and have their mat assignments and/or results update automatically on dashboards. Users can also choose to receive this information through either email or text alerts.

As a benefit of membership, USA Wrestling is offering USA Bracketing text alerts free of charge for all Wrestling Leader members.

To take advantage of the free text benefit through USA Bracketing, you will need to either create a new USA Bracketing account with your USA Wrestling ID number, or add your USA Wrestling ID number to an existing account on USA Bracketing.

To add your USA Wrestling ID to an existing account, go to My Account under your username, and add it to the top field labeled USA Wrestling Id.

USA Bracketing is the official tournament software for all USA Wrestling regional and national events.
