Friday 4/4-- Friday Night Novice Takedown Tournament for all first year wreslters, registration will be done on site.

Styles: Freestyle and Greco Roman

Divisions: Kids, Cadet, Junior, and Open

Weigh-ins: TCWA highly discourages weight loss. Your child will be pooled with athletes similar to their weight. We will spot check kids day of tournament, kids must be within 3 lbs of weight entered during pre-registration, if overweight the Coach and Wrester will be pulled from the tournament (no refund).  2nd offense Coach and wrestler will be suspended for the season.

Weight classes: weights are pooled based on participants, 5 participants and under will be round robin, 6 or more athletes will be placed in line brackets.

Pre-registration

• deadline 8am morning of the event, late registration deadline for youth 8:30 am, late registration for High School 10:30 am
• $20 per wrestler, second style additional $10 (No double bracketing/weights or age group)
• Pre-registered kids check in by 8:30 am and High School check in by 10:30 am

Walk-up registration (in person)

• Check in times: Kids 7:00-8:00 am, High school 9:00 am - 10:00 am; for Friday Night Novice registration starts at 5pm. 
• $20 per wrestler (before 8AM), second style additional $10, late registration $25 (After 8AM)

Weigh in/Check in:

• Those preregistered will enter weight online and we will spot check weights at event.
• Check in process- we will validate brackets by having athletes check in at entry gate. We will scratch any no shows from preregistration or make any corrections 30 minutes prior to start of wrestling.

Wrestling Start Time: 8am mats open for warm up/ 9am Kids, 11:00AM High School; Friday Night Novice 6:30 pm 

Admissions Fee: $5 for kids and $10 for adults CASH ONLY

*USA Cards will be required to wrestle.

*All wrestlers must show their card at each tournament.*

*Coaches must show current USA card to get wristband to coach mat side.*

All TCWA tournaments are USA Wrestling sanctioned tournaments with site/event insurance.
