A wrestler can move up one age group with the permission of the tournament director, provided this request is made before bracketing is completed. A wrestler can only compete in one bracket for each session, either the morning or afternoon session. The only division that can wrestle in both morning and afternoon is the Intermediate division, because the wrestler can wrestle in the morning session as an Intermediate and move up one division to Novice for the afternoon session. The coach requesting the division change must show their current Wrestling Leader card. Therefore, this request cannot be made by anyone without a Wrestling Leader card.
