Brawlers Brawl 2024

ONLY IKWF TEAMS ALLOWED TO ENTER (IL ONLY)

Cost: $20 per wrestler. Checks made out to Brawlers WC. Document will be sent to add wrestlers for the event. Even if they do not show they are counted towards payment.

Limit: 300 WRESTLERS ONLY. NO WALK INS.

Start Times (APPROX): Doors open at 7:00am

Session 1 Tots- 8:00am start

Session 2 Bantam- 9:30am start

Session 3 Intermediate 11:00am start

Session 4 Novice and Senior- 1:30pm-finish.

Gate Fee: $5 for adults (12 and under free)

Brackets: Tots -Senior 4 Man Brackets (2 matches only). In the case we have a 5 man bracket a wrestler might have 3 matches. Each bracket will be given a designated Mat. No Bullpen. Brackets will be on Trophy Case.

This will be a paper pencil tournament. Any adjustments to brackets need to be made before the sessions starts.

Awards: Awards given 1st-4th place. Given at HEAD TABLE at the conclusion of bracket.

Club Registration: Due by December 1st. Email approximate number of wrestlers of wrestlers that will register. We will have clubs open to attend until we hit 400 Wrestlers.

Weigh ins: Due Saturday December 28th by 10:00am. Weights and Age groups should be listed. Fill in your team’s information only. A document will be sent to you.

Mats: 3 Mats split into 6 sections. Each bracket will be assigned a Mat for the day. Each table will only have approx. 3-4 brackets per session.

Head Table: Coaches need to check in at and have a wristband. You must have your USAWID.

Concessions: Are available. Bring cash. Concessions will be in the cafeteria as well as plenty of seating.

T-Shirts: Will also be available.

Seating: One side will have bleachers seating. After the conclusion of your athlete’s tournament please clean your area.  Leave promptly to open space for the next round of wrestling. If you go matside only coaches will be allowed on the mats. Please kneel if you are watching matside. Coaches: Please go to head table, Sign in with your USAW Card, and then get a band. If you are asked to clear the middle of the mats more than once we will ask you to then sit in the stands for the remainer of the session. Only 2 coaches in the corner per match. NO ONE SHOULD BE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MATS. This is a safety hazard.
