1ST YEAR WRESTLERS (PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS NOVICE)

Who is considered a 1st Year Wrestler?

Youth wrestlers who are in their first year competing are considered 1st Year Wrestlers. 

Sometimes, a wrestler may purchase a USA card to practice only, but not compete.  That year is not considered 1st year if they do not compete.  Wrestlers are considered 1st year during the first year of competition
