 ELIGIBILITY

This tournament is open to any wrestler enrolled in a public or private school in the state of Indiana, 5th - 8th grade.  Athletes in a home school program must provide verification. The athletes cannot be 16 before January 22, 2024.

TOP 4 IN EACH WEIGHT CLASS OF THIS TOURNAMENT WILL QUALIFY FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIPS ON SUNDAY 2/4/24 AT CENTER GROVE HIGH SCHOOL.

GIRLS MUST QUALIFY TO WRESTLE IN THE BOYS DIVISION BUT ARE NOT REQUIRED TO QUALIFY FOR THE GIRLS DIVISION. PLACERS FROM EACH QUALIFIER WILL BE SEEDED USING THE USAW PIN RANKINGS.

• You must weigh in onsite using a competition singlet

• IF YOU QUALIFY, YOU MUST WRESTLE IN THE SAME WEIGHT CLASS & MAKE SCRATCH WEIGHT FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIPS ON 2/4/24 (OR EARLY WEIGH INS ON 2/3/24)

•  NFHSA Rules will apply
•  Matches will consist of three periods: 1:00 – 1:30 – 1:30 min

Awards

• Top 4 in each weight class qualify for the State Championship Tournament on Sunday 2/4/24 at Center Grove High School. Girls must qualify to wrestle in the boys division but are not required to qualify for the girls championship. The Championship Tournament will be seeded according to USA Wrestling PIN rankings.
• Top 4 placers are NOT eligible to compete in another qualifier.
• Athletes who place 5th and below may compete in another qualifier.
