ISWA Freestyle
•Wrestlers must compete in 2 qualifying tournaments to participate
Girls may compete. If girls compete in the open Freestyle event, they must have the 2 qualifyingtournaments to participate.
•High school 16U division may wrestle in the Junior division also
ISWA Greco
•Does NOT require 2 qualifying tournaments to participate
•High school 16U division may wrestle in the Junior division also

Girls Freestyle
For 2023 Two qualifying tournaments are not required

•PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST WRESTLE AT THIS EVENT IN ORDER TO WRESTLE AT CENTRAL REGIONALS ON MAY 19-21st, IN FT WAYNE IN. YOU MUST ALSO WRESTLE AT CENTRAL REGIONALS OR MEET ONE OF THE OTHER SELECTION PROCESS, IN ORDER TO ATTEND FARGO, ND IN JULY.
•This competition is for Indiana residents ONLY! Under no circumstances will out of state wrestlers be allowed. In caseof a protest, full time Indiana residency must be verified. Indiana school enrollment will determine residency, if otherverification is unavailable or not satisfactory. The wrestler will then be required to produce a copy of a report card orschool ID to participate.
•Wrestlers should register before May 4 th @7:59 pm EST within www.usawmembership.com, Price $50 one style, two styles $75. LATE REGISTRATION is $100 per style. Register before May 2nd at 7:59pm EST to ensure your athlete'sname is on the event shirt. No refunds for registration or entry tickets.
• BEFORE REGISTERING ENSURE YOUR PRIMARY CLUB AFFILIATION IS CORRECT. UPDATING CLUB AFFILIATIONAFTER REGISTERINGTo update your club affiliation after you have registered you will first need to update the club on yourUSAWrestling profile. Once you have updated your profile, you can then go to manage>registrations toupdate the registration.
•USA Wrestling Athlete Card-A 2023 USAW card is required for all 6U -Junior wrestlers to participate in this event.Please purchase your card at www.usawmembership.com prior to the event. An Open License is required for all U23 –Master wrestlers (born before 9/1/2002) and can also be purchased through www.usawmemberhip.com AGE MUSTBE VERIFIED BEFORE WEIGHING IN!!! PRINT USAW CARD IN ADVANCE TO ENSURE AGE IS VERIFIED ON CARD!!!!
•WEIGH-INS: PLEASE COME PREPARED WITH PRINTED USAW ATHLETE CARD. AGE VERIFICATION REQUIRED BEFOREWEIGH-INS. TO AVOID LONG LINES, BRING A PRINTED ATHLETE CARD. IF ATHLETE CARD SAYS AGE VERIFICATION REQUIRED THIS CAN BE REMOVED BY EMAILING OFFICE@ISWA.COM. NO-AGE PENDING CARDS CAN COMPETE ATISWA STATE EVENTS.
• All weigh-ins will consist of (1) weigh-in and (1) immediate challenge. Wrestlers will not be allowed to leave theweigh-in area. The ISWA does not charge for adjusting weight classes after you register. You are free to adjust yourweight class at any time, up until weigh-ins. • All wrestlers must weigh-in wearing a competition uniform. (Singlet or two-piece uniform as specified by the NFHSguidelines). After weighing in, no changes may be made.
• AWARDS Custom awards will be presented to the top 8 finishers in each weight class. First-place finishers will alsoreceive a Championship Singlet.
•TEAM COMPETITION Limited to 2022-2023 ISWA member clubs only! Custom plaques will be presented to the 1st,2nd and 3rd place clubs in the Small, Medium, and Large Club categories. For Academy Clubs (as defined by the ISWABoard of Directors), only 1st place receives a plaque. Teams must consist of 8 or more wrestlers in order to enter a team competition. The ISWA encourages 8-10 volunteers per club to work scoring tables. Volunteers earn 12 clubteam points toward the team competition score, a volunteer shirt, and food & drinks (for volunteers who work all day). REQUIRED: Send an email to office@iswa.com by May 1st with completed “Club Volunteer Form” in order toreceive the 12 team points and submit shirt sizes. Table must be covered duration of event. •COACHING BANDS MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED WITHIN WWW.USAWMEMBERSHIP.COM -EVENTREGISTRATION-COACHES BANDS. PLEASE ALLOW PLENTY OF TIME TO ENSURE YOUR WRESTLINGLEADER CARD IS UPDATED AND LISTS COPPER OR BRONZE CERTIFICATIONS TO REGISTER FORBAND.
