USA Wrestling is excited to return the High School Recruiting Showcase event series. The 2022 High School Recruiting Showcase - California Qualifier will be held on March 12, 2022 in Temecula, CA. 

The qualifier events will feature the top High School boy and girl wrestlers from around the country. For the boys (contested in Folkstyle) and girls (contested in Freestyle), the top six (6) place winners from each qualifier will qualify for the 2022 USAW High School National Recruiting Showcase. 

Automatic Qualifiers

• All High School State Champions (9-12 grade) (any year)
• National Prep Champions (any year)
• Placer at NHSCA Virginia Beach High School Nationals (any year)

These automatically qualify for the 2022 National High School National Recruiting Showcase, for both boys and girls (they would not need to attend a qualifier).

• High School State champions are defined as High School state association sanctioned state champions for boys in Folkstyle, and both state association sanctioned champions and recognized unofficial state champions for girls in Folkstyle.
